As the head of the Gérard Bertrand group in southern France, he has committed his entire estate portfolio to biodynamic farming — one of the largest such commitments in the world. His work has reshaped both the quality and the global perception of Languedoc wines, placing biodiversity, soil health, and terroir expression at the heart of everything he does. As it happens, the local Bertrand team will have a booth at the upcoming 47th Vancouver International Wine Festival, so if France is not on your list in the near future, you can taste a number of his wines at the festival.
