Gérard Bertrand Terroir Picpoul 2018
Picpoul de Pinet, Coteaux du Languedoc, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceBertrand’s passion for all things south means he just had to make Picpoul. The vineyard lies on the banks of the Thau Lake, between the scrubland and the sea. Its position is tempered by sea breezes, cooling the highest heat of the day, while the lake mass keeps the nighttime temperatures moderate. Picpoul de Pinet can be a charming summer drink, and this label is no exception. Floral, fresh and filled with white fruit, there is enough citrus to keep the honeysuckle notes at bay. Ready to drink; simply chill and serve. Shellfish is a perfect match.Tasted: 22 April 2019Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:CDN | $27.99 | 750ml | estimated retail price |
