Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2021 Meritage is a 64/19/17 blend of merlot, cabernet sauvignon, and cabernet franc, all from Osoyoos. The nose is a smouldering, smoky affair that penetrates most of the red and black fruits on the mid-palate. The texture and bright acidity are the highlights of what is a bitter, smoky effort that will only get worse with time.
