Fort Berens Meritage 2015

British Columbia, CanadaRoasted meats and earth, undercut with a swing of swamp wood, opens this blend of merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc from Similkameen, Black Sage Bench, Osoyoos, and their home site in Lillooet. Tme in French and American oak has provided a wood-hewn frame for the sunned fruit, expressed with choke cherry, raspberry, tiny cassis and black coffee to a bitter, powdered finish. Requires protein (think beef) to smooth out.Tasted: 07 December 2017Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
