Burrowing Owl Meritage 2009

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA true Meritage (Bordeaux blend). Look for blackberry jam, prune, coffee, tobacco aromas with cedar, vanilla, roasted bell pepper, and tomato paste aromas. Round, full, dry but somewhat tart palate. Coffee, vanilla, chocolate, tobacco, peppery, prune cherries, roasted pepper, resin, clove and cassis flavours. Solid but very oaky and warm on the finish.
