Burrowing Owl Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe nose is relatively restrained for this vintage, primarily showcasing dark fruit and earth. The attack is soft, with light tannins and some bitterness on a dry mid-palate. Compared to previous editions, it lacks significant warmth or richness and exhibits a lower level of fruit. The finish is brief, and the back end dries out quickly. It should be showing more development, 30 months or more from fermentation. It needs more time in the bottle, but even then, I can't be sure what direction this is going to go.Tasted: 12 May 2025Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $45.00 | 750ml | winery online/direct, restaurants |
