Burrowing Owl Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaTobacco ash, cranberry, cherry, barnyard, pruny, resin, compost, black pepper and coffee aromas. Fresh, dry, elegant but lean palate with some light tannins to shed. Smoky, resin, coffee, peppery, prune, warm tomato paste, rooty, cassis flavours. Finish is quite oaky with some stewed fruit and coffee notes. Needs a few years to soften further. A good example of how fine the line is when you are trying to ripen cabernet sauvignon in British Columbia.Tasted: 02 December 2013Tasted by: Prices:
