Burrowing Owl Cabernet Sauvignon 1997
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWe love the cassis, spice and cinnamon nose here but after that it tastes a lot like a '97 B.C. red. The flavours are dry and peppery with a bit of a salty (Padthaway) leathery tang and too much acidity. Not up o the level of Burrowing Owl's initial white wine releases.Tasted: 01 September 1998Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $23.00 | 750ml |
