Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaRosé for grown ups is one of my favourite summer drinks. At Tantalus, the salmon-pink offering is tightly wound, with a nose of pink grapefruit, strawberry compote, and light scents of white flowers in the background. The palate is bone dry but not lean, offering subtle watermelon, raspberry, and tangerine over bright, balancing acidity. Stylish, textural and ready to drink. It is all East Kelowna Slopes pinot noir, whole bunch pressed and fermented in stainless steel. Ready to drink and will pair well with richer appetizers.Tasted: 18 May 2026Tasted by: Prices:
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAn abundant 2025 vintage resulted in this rosé returning to East Kelowna Slopes fruit, and in this year, 100% pinot noir. The fruit was whole bunch pressed and fermented in stainless for the free run, with harder pressings fermented in neutral French barrels and aged on full lees. Post ferment and a short rest, the two parts were blended and rested again before bottling. Pouring a spring salmon hue, this opens with crushed strawberry, raspberry, pithy tangerine over a river stone base, with a fine layer of lees to bed, shining grapefruit acidity, and lingering crushed stones seeing out the finish. A smart, charming, polished rosé to crack into this summer, liberally.Tasted: 20 June 2026Tasted by: Prices:
