Tantalus Rosé 2020
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada2020 is a 65/35 mix of pinot noir and pinot meunier that interestingly sees the noir whole bunch pressed while the latter gets 72 hours of skin contact before it is pressed off, resulting in a medium reddish colour. Cofermented, they spend two months on lees before it is bottled in February. Expect a juicy, vibrant, stylish rosé with pure strawberry, red apple, watermelon that is exquisitely styled with lees and a wire of acidic electricity. Nothing but sophisticated fun here.
