Tantalus Rosé 2015
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaDeep cherry hued, this pinot noir/pinot meunier opens with punchy red currant, cinnamon and raspberry jam. The fuller palate is cherry jam and salted, candied red apple, plum, with a bump of residual sugar that flushes out the frame (and then some). Acidity is cheerful throughout. The finish is pure meunier: fruity, red and pink florals and a skiff of mace spicing.
