Tantalus Rosé 2025
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAn abundant 2025 vintage resulted in this rosé returning to East Kelowna Slopes fruit, and in this year, 100% pinot noir. The fruit was whole bunch pressed and fermented in stainless for the free run, with harder pressings fermented in neutral French barrels and aged on full lees. Post ferment and a short rest, the two parts were blended and rested again before bottling. Pouring a spring salmon hue, this opens with crushed strawberry, raspberry, pithy tangerine over a river stone base, with a fine layer of lees to bed, shining grapefruit acidity, and lingering crushed stones seeing out the finish.
