Burrowing Owl Chardonnay

Burrowing Owl Chardonnay 2018

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis year is 85% barrel fermented, and 15% stainless, and a mix of 80% French and 20% American oak (47% new). Partial MLF was followed by 8 months in wood. Creamy, fleshy lemon, cushy lees, meringue floods a plump palate. Flooded with wood on the finish. This slims down slightly every vintage, but still swings in the old school Cali / BC house style.Tasted: 26 August 2020Tasted by: Prices: BC 30.00 winery direct AB 31.00 private wine stores ON 33.95 LCBO QC 35.75 SAQ Producer: Burrowing Owl VineyardsDistributors: Appellation Wine Marketing
