Fresh, dry, elegant but lean palate with some light tannins to shed. Smoky, resin, coffee, peppery, prune, warm tomato paste, rooty, cassis flavours. Finish is quite oaky with some stewed fruit and coffee notes. Needs a few years to soften further.
