British Columbia, CanadaThis is an elevated take on an unoaked chardonnay, benefiting from partial aging in neutral barriques with an almost indiscernible touch of new wood (4%). There's still ample fruit here, but it doesn't veer into the fruit salad style you can sometimes find, with a combination of well defined white peach, Anjou pear, lemon, and white blossom. It's crisp with some roundness to the palate, making this easy to drink on its own or with light salads.
