Fort Berens Chardonnay 2016
Lillooet, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Lillooet, Oliver and Similkameen fruit, this chardonnay was 30 percent fermented and aged in French oak, partially wild, and partial MLF. After six months, this was united with the stainless steel portion and bottled. Bright yellow apple and Anjou pear on a creamy base, with florals, pineapple on the finish. It's a bit short and acidic on the finish but all in all ready for crab cakes or buttered clams.
