Lillooet, British Columbia, CanadaSubtle herbs, prickly pear, white peach and pear opens this juicy and bright chardonnay. The tight palate shows meadow, gooseberry, anise, citrus and stone - crisp and focussed, with a nice peach cushion on the palate and a light rasp of peach fuzz on the finish. The choice to ferment in both stainless and French oak works well - nice balance throughout.
