Fort Berens Chardonnay 2009
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBready, leesy, grassy, honey, waxy, vanilla, smoky aromas. Round, slightly flat palate but some concentration. Very waxy, lees, vanilla, honey, butter, baked apple, muscat flavours. Very oaky, smoky bacon, sweet, warm finish. Oak needs to be scaled back to allow the fruit to really shine. A good start.Tasted: 11 October 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $18.00 | 750ml | vqa, private wine stores, winery direct |
