Osoyoos Larose 2008
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFollowing up the very fine 2007 the 2008 was lacking earlier on but it's blossoming now. The mix is 60/25/7/3/3/ merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, malbec and petit verdot. Look for licorice graphite, and smoky black fruit aromas. On the palate black cherry liquorice, savoury olive flavours predominate. Tightly wound and still youthful this will need a few more years to come into itself. Classy, firm, quiet understated. Cellar through 2016.Tasted: 23 December 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $40.00 | 750ml | private wine shops |
