Osoyoos Larose 2003
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaTasted twice within the week. The nose is quiet mix of smoky/vanilla, saddle leather and tobacco leaf with spicy coriander notes and just a hint of violet, cherry and dried plum aromas. The entry is rich an intense but very dry with chewy, austere tannins. Peppery, smoky, resiny, licorice root flavours with light streaks of black cherry, vanilla and cedar bark. The finish is warm dry and austere with elevated acidity. This will need years to soften. Re-taste in 2010.Tasted: 29 November 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $40.00 | 750ml | private wine shops |
