Penfolds Grange Hermitage Bin 95 Shiraz 1990

South Australia, AustraliaVery ripe, open blackberry jam, vanilla and crème brûlée aromas with strong coffee, waxy, truffle and leather tones. Rich, round and intense like great Grange, has ripe and supple tannins although still somewhat tight. Beautiful leathery, prune, earthy, pepper flavours with lots of ripe blackberry and vanilla. The finish has big, ripe tannins. A great wine but way too young. Try again in ten years.Tasted: 01 March 1993Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
