Quails' Gate Merlot 2022
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaExpect a youthful, dry, spicy red in 2002 with some sticky tannins to disperse. It’s relatively fresh and more linear than most North American versions. The fruit is dark and has plummy undertones and an herbaceous savoury theme in the finish. I would give this another year or two in a bottle, allowing it to settle into itself and pull all the edges in.
