Quails' Gate Merlot 2008
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSoft cedar-y, black cherry aromas with bits of dried herbs, tobacco leaf and earthy green tea aromas. Despite a soft almost sweet entry the tannins immediately swarm across your palate quickly drying out this red. Look for a spicy warm black olive, dried tomato and tobacco flavours with a warm resiny burn in the finish.
