Quails' Gate Merlot 2014
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSweet and intense ripe blackberry and cassis coat a toasty wood frame, one supported by ripe, plush but grainy tannins. Bitter coffee, lightly smoked branch, medicinal dark cherry and tobacco fill out the fuller body before a hot, cedar-shorn finish.
