Howling Bluff Sauvignon Blanc 2022
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAt Howling Bluff, the sauvignon comes from three vineyards, all hand harvested, destemmed, and pressed off into four different fermentation vessels, each using a different yeast to create some extra complexity. The wine is electric, with mouth puckering grapefruit and lime rind mixed with grass and guava. Very food friendly. It's linear, taut and tangy from front to back, and has a touch of texture from a small amount of the wine going through malolactic and lees stirring. Bring on the oysters or mussels.
