Howling Bluff Sauvignon Blanc 2015
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaIt’s hard to believe the vines are now 15 years old at Howling Bluff but they are, and the wine and the winemaker Luke Smith are settling in. Grown on deep clay, it easily withstood the warm summer. There is a hint of sweetness on the mid-palate but that offsets the lime rind, grapefruit and grassy gooseberry flavours. Back on track.
