Howling Bluff Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThough this sauvignon blanc presents itself as a typical table wine, the palate is so honeyed and sweet it drinks as a late harvest. Mango, ripe peach and pear on the nose lead to a sweet, tropical fruit white, with mango, honey, baked apple, pineapple, apricot and lime peel piquancy over moderate acidity. Quite the departure from the 2012, and a shock should you not be expecting such a sweet sipper. That said, if you're looking for a wine to accompany your peach cobbler, you're set with this.Tasted: 25 June 2015Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
