Valle del Colchagua, Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileFrom estate vineyards in Colchagua Valley, this cabernet sauvignon with a dash of merlot delivers a smooth palate of spicy black and blue fruits alongside dried herb and chocolate that melt into one another. The tannins are dense but sweet, yet they have a heft and structure to take on some bright acidity to keep fresh. As time passes, this label is gaining polish and complexity that belies its price. It should evolve quickly in the bottle over the next 5-7 years but drinks well now with grilled lamb or beef.
