Apalta Valley, Santa Cruz, Valle del Colchagua, Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileThe fresh fruit notes are long gone as you would expect after a dozen years, trading places with more earthy, olive, savoury (boldo) notes, mixed with a cedar tobacco finish. The tannins have expired, leaving a mellow cabernet sauvignon with herbal cassis flavours and a smooth, silky back end. Ready to drink with braised beef dishes. The grapes are grown at the La Finca de Apalta estate in the Apalta Valley, Colchagua.Tasted: 18 February 2021Tasted by: Prices:
