Valle del Colchagua, Valle del Rapel, Region del Valle Central, ChileTwelve months in French oak and ten per cent merlot gives this old vine red all the gloss it needs. The nose is inviting showing black fruit, vanilla, spice and tobacco. Similar flavours penetrate the palate in a smooth jacket of warm red fruits with blueberry and smoky black licorice in the finish.
