Burrowing Owl Syrah 2014

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBig, blousy, coffee and vanilla nose with ripe blueberry undertones. Rich, soft and round, with sweet, smoky, meaty black fruit flavours and a sweet peppery finish. The ripe, candied, baked fruit and oak is holding court in this bottle for the moment, overriding the savoury, regional terroir that can add a sense of complexity. Big and hedonistic, you can drink this now. Lamb or steak is the ticket here.Tasted: 24 October 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
