Burrowing Owl Syrah 2011

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSavoury, celery salt, tobacco leaf, cedar, meaty, tapenade and licorice aromas. Dry, fresh, elegant but slightly lean with light tannins. Coffee, peppery, blueberry, black cherry, licorice, savoury, spicy, vanilla flavours. A bit oaky and warm on the finish perhaps accentuated by the cool vintage and its medium-weight palate. Should improve over the next few years or try now with grilled lamb.Tasted: 07 September 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
