Burrowing Owl Syrah 2006

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBig spicy, black berry jam, peppery, smoky nose with bits of coffee and vanilla. The entry is dry and tannic, the style chunky style with a touch of volatility. The flavours are a mix of black berry, black cherry, tobacco, earthy, vanilla, tobacco and roasted pepper. Very hot (alcoholic) and extracted but give it some time in bottle and it should come around in 2010.Tasted: 10 November 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
