Burrowing Owl Cabernet Franc 2011

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaCool peppery, coffee, ash, vanilla nose with prune plum, cedar, cranberry, floral aromas. Fresh, full, round, somewhat astringent attack on the palate with light tannins. Black cherry, coffee, smoky vanilla, cedar, ash, cranberry, savoury, tobacco leaf flavours. Warm, somewhat lean finish but good overall concentration but short finish. Needs 3-5 years to round out. A good effort in a tough year.
