Caymus Special Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 2008
Napa Valley, California, United StatesSpicy, smoky, coffee, floral, cassis jam, blackberry, vanilla, earthy, peppery, savoury, bay leaf aromas. Ripe, rich, round, smooth, warm and fresh palate with very smooth tannins. Big blackberry jam, prune, cassis, coffee, peppery, vanilla, cedar, tobacco, smoky, spicy, savoury and leather flavours with a chocolate, coffee finish. A bit warm but very good finesse and ripeness with good balance. Drinkable now but should age 3-10 years. Would be even better in the future if they can get the alcohol down to 14 or less.Tasted: 26 December 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $125.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
