Napa Valley, California, United StatesAt Caymus Special Selection gets all the attention. It's Napa and its cabernet and that's the focus. In 2000, some 87 per cent of this 100 per cent cabernet sauvignon was aged in new French oak for 17 months. The colour is inky black. The fruit is intense. Plums blackcurrants blackberries all mixed with spice, vanilla and toasted oak into a suave super smooth cabernet. Young firm and only beginning its life.
