Caymus Special Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 1997
Napa Valley, California, United StatesMedium dark colour. Muddy, slightly dank nose of fruit, twigs and damp earth. Lovely mid-palate flavours and length with spice and alcohol in the finish. More Euro-style here with slightly drier fruit and good acidity. It's no pleasure palace at present but we are betting it's a long way from being ready to drink.
