Tuscany, ItalyA blend of mostly cabernet with sangiovese and a little cabernet franc or the reverse of Tignanello. Cassis, black olive, peppery, coffee, floral, blackberry, tobacco, cigar, saddle leather, barnyard, savoury aromas. Rich, ripe, dry, somewhat tannic and fresh palate with youthful, grainy tannins. Spicy, cassis, peppery, black cherry, liquorice, coffee, tobacco, earth, meaty, leather, vanilla flavours. Youthful and showing some oak and tannins, needs three to seven years to shine.
