Quails' Gate Stewart Family Reserve Chardonnay 2006

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaCitrus, green apple, garlic lees, vanilla, butter, pear aromas. Round, full, somewhat oily texture and warm but good acidity. Baked apple, leesy, buttery, spicy, nutty, citrus flavours. Good concentration and flavour intensity despite the very warm, oily, buttery finish. Good solid style akin to Corton Charlemagne. A bit less butter and oil and more acid minerality would make it shine.Tasted: 14 June 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
