Château d'Yquem 1983
Sauternes, Graves, Bordeaux, FranceLove the complex nose with honey, apricot jam and caramel aromas. The palate is full-bodied and very alive on the palate with a good level of acidity. A large proportion of dry grapes are in the blend that adds to the concentration adds a lot of acidity. It's a fresh lively beautiful vintage that is ready to drink but it should hold for decades. Bottled with 119 grams per litre of sugar with an acidity of 5 grams per litre and 13.4 alcohol. Picking began in 20 October and was completed by 10 November.Tasted: 15 May 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:AB | $775.00 | 750ml | Dream Wines |
