Tuscany, ItalySmoky, cigar, saddle leather, gamey, licorice root and cassis nose mixed with blackberry jam and a touch of prune plum. Moderately rich, dry, warm palate with grainy tannins. Good flavour intensity with cassis, black cherry, spicy, resiny, minty, meaty, peppery flavours and a tobacco, earthy, mocha finish. Warm but well balanced with some rustic tannin to shed.
