Antinori Tignanello 1996
Tuscany, ItalyTignanello is the original Super Tuscan. The 47 hectare vineyard at Antinori's Santa Cristina Estate uses 80% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc to make this wine. Each variety is vinified separately before transferring to 225 litre French Alliers and Troncais barrels (new and one year old).
