Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Oliver's Dhaliwal Bros Vineyard, this forward Fumé Blanc is 71% sauvignon blanc and 29% sémillon, each separately crushed and with 2 hours on skins before pressing and settling prior to fermenting slowly, cooly, in stainless and French puncheons. Both lots remained on lees for 4 months prior to blending. Confident and direct, this streams pink grapefruit, tangerine, passionfruit, crunchy green apple along a focused palate, with an alluring river stone finish.
