Clos du Soleil Fumé Blanc 2015
Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2015 Fumé Blanc is all Okanagan fruit. The blend is 82/18 sauvignon blanc/sémillon. The nose is bright, with some gooseberry/passionfruit undertones not unlike the New Zealand style. Just a touch of wood fleshes out the mid-palate. The textures are slightly softer and rounder this year with the increase in sémillon, all of which tempers the fresh pineapple/grapefruit flavours.
