Skaha Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaDeep ruby with a touch of purple, this is a bold, fruit-driven red with no shortage of ripeness. The nose shows blackberry and blueberry compote layered with dried violet, savoury spice, and a subtle meaty note. The palate is juicy and full bodied, with enough freshness to balance the warm 14.8% alcohol, while well judged tannins provide structure.
