Fort Berens Riesling 2023
British Columbia, CanadaIn 2023, Fort Berens released only one riesling, a blend of 57% Naramata fruit, and 43% Lillooet. After 12 hours skin contact, the crushed grapes were pressed into stainless for a long, cold fermentation waiting until the desired RS (9.4 g/L) was met. The wine rested on less for 4 months before bottling. Perfumed cold cream, apricot, tangerine rules the bright, snappy palate, finishing with a brief orange twist.
