Fort Berens Riesling 2020
British Columbia, CanadaAt 9.3 g/L of residual sugar, the FB riesling is perceptibly sweet, making it widely attractive to many consumers. The fruit is a blend of sites, including some estate grapes and the rest from Kelowna and Vernon. It is stainless steel fermented before a cold arrest, leaving the desired sweetness. The style is light and juicy with a mix of honey, red apples, and grapefruit, with a dusting of northern BC scrub lending a sense of place. It's a bit skinny, but the freshness is an asset at this point. Ready to drink and capable of taking on some favourite spicy dishes.Tasted: 07 May 2021Tasted by: Prices:BC | $19.99 | 750ml | winery online/direct, select private retailers, grocery |
