Fort Berens Cabernet Franc 2020
British Columbia, CanadaLike last year, the colour is on the light side for the cabernet franc but no matter. The nose is a smoky mix of black cherry and ground coffee that spills onto the palate. The back end is a touch bitter, with some acidity poking through and sticky tannins at this finish. Again, a bit unknit, but it would be okay with grilled pork or beef/mushroom stew.Tasted: 01 February 2023Tasted by: Prices:BC | $32.99 | 750ml | winery online/direct, select private retailers, grocery |
