Fort Berens Cabernet Franc 2012

Lillooet, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2012 cabernet franc is the pinnacle of the FB reds to come out of Lillooet. A gold medal winner at the Wine Align National Wine Awards of Canada it sets the tone for the future of the region in effect proving it's ability to produce fine wine. The grapes for the franc are still a mix of estate fruit and fruit sourced from the Black Sage Vineyard in Oliver. The nose is a subtle mix of spice, red fruits, bramble berries and licorice with balance and elegance. Well done.Tasted: 25 July 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
