Meyer Pinot Noir 2021

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe '21 Meyer Pinot is a mix of three Okanagan Vineyards: Teasdale Road in Southeast Kelowna, Fat Coyote on the Naramata Bench, and Lakehill Road in Kaleden. The destemmed fruit is partially native fermented over four weeks before ageing eight months in older French barrels and puncheons, meant to expand and grow the wine without any oak influence. The style is fleshy with a distinct, barnyard, earthy undercurrent that equalizes the black cherry and absorbs some of the spice and acidity. Ready to drink and would be a hit with duck pizza.Tasted: 27 August 2022Tasted by: Prices:
